Selva - Izumi, Sendai

セルバ　泉、仙台

Located right next to the Izumi subway station, Selva is a very convenient place to do your food shopping if you live in the Izumi area. And even if you don't, because it is so easy to get to, it is well worth a trip occasionaly. The first floor sells only food. Included among the shops are a couple of bakeries, cake shops, a Japanese cake shop, bento shops, sushi shops, an Asian deli, a yakitori shop, a fruit and vegetable shop, a butchers, and a fish shop. There is also a very good import food shop which sells most things you are likely to need, with a very good range of European imported foods. Whether you want to buy something to make dinner with, or pick up something that is ready to eat, you will find lots of things to choose from. The rest of the building (5 floors) contains mainly fashion and clothing shops, with an HIS travel office on the fourth floor and a large book shop on the top floor. There is also a Starbucks on the second floor. So you might spend some time browsing around the upper floors before doing your food shopping.

How to get there

Located right next to Izumi Chuo Subway Station. Leave the station by the main exit on the second floor (the pedestrian deck) and you will see it right in front of you.
